1982
Recorded 10/9/82, at the Berklee Performance Center, Boston, MA. Includes music by Michael Hedges, Alex deGrassi, Will Ackerman, and George Winston. Michael’s contributions include “Rickover’s Dream” and “Spare Change” (a live version, with Michael Manring on fretless bass and Liz Story on piano, of the tune that reappeared on Aerial Boundaries as an electronic piece) as well as playing with George Winston on Will Ackerman’s “Hawk Circle.”

Music by various Windham Hill artists, including Michael Hedges’ acoustic guitar adaptation of a piano arrangement by E. J. Ulrich of J. S. Bach’s “In Dulci Jubilo.” Ulrich’s piano arrangement appears on Adoration of the Magi.

A compilation created for release only in South America to accompany a tour there, this 1993 retrospective includes selections from Michael’s Windham Hill albums through 1993 (both instrumental and vocal), plus three previously unreleased covers: a live recording of “Gimme Shelter,” a tongue-in-cheek live rendition of the Fine Young Cannibals’ hit “She Drives Me Crazy,” and a studio version of The Who’s “Pinball Wizard.”
