We have an exciting announcement for the ORACLE documentary project – we have partnered with a new fiscal sponsor!
We’re more than grateful to The Stropes Foundation for their critical support as our early fiscal sponsor, which has helped us get this far, making an enormous amount of progress on the film. A huge thanks to John Stropes, Richard Phalen and the entire board for their partnership and for believing in this project from the very start, helping us to raise funding to complete the first half of production and begin editing.
For this next phase of fundraising, we’ve partnered with the International Documentary Association.
The International Documentary Association (IDA) is the largest fiscal sponsor of documentaries in the world. Many of the films in their program have gone on to premiere at Sundance, SXSW and Telluride.
As a public charity, IDA offers flexibility for our supporters and additional resources for us as filmmakers. This partnership also makes our project eligible for more grant funding, mentorship and distribution opportunities.
We’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal to raise $250,000 over the next 6 months, which will enable us to complete production and assemble a full rough cut of the film in 2025. View our campaign page, see available benefits for supporters, and make a year-end, tax deductible contribution.
If you’re an existing sponsor, consider a contribution that will bring you to the next sponsorship level and its associated benefits. All contributions to the ORACLE documentary are tax deductible when made through IDA.
