The Artist’s Profile: Michael Hedges is a 1998 documentary produced and directed by filmmaker Brian Malone. Originally released on VHS, the film has been out of print for years, and unavailable for online streaming – until now!
The film has been remastered in 4K UltraHD, and will be re-released in mid-2024 for on-demand viewing. About 70 of Michael’s family, friends, collaborators and fans came together to celebrate the upcoming release. Filmmaker Brian Malone of Fast Forward Films participated in a Q&A about the 1998 film, and co-Producer Hilleary Burgess and bassist Michael Manring joined him onstage.
Proceeds from the event were donated to support the continued production of the next documentary about Michael, ORACLE: the Life & Music of Michael Hedges.
